Radon Gas Mitigation Before & After Photos

Here is a before and after photoshoot of a radon extraction point recently installed by ALS Property Associates, Inc. in Battle Creek, MI. This is the point of the radon mitigation system that is sealed to the concrete slab and pulls the radon gas up from under the home, through the radon fan, and vents it safely above the roof line of the home. 

ALS Property Associates installed a radon mitigation system at a residential property in Battle Creek, MI. A sub-slab depressurization radon system was used on the home. Schedule 40 piping was run from the basement to the side exterior where the radon fan was installed and vented above the home.

See the before and after of a double extraction point. One of the extraction points is for the main slab of the basement and the second is through the foundation wall and communicates with the slab of the bi-level. This one location creates negative pressure not only under the basement, but under the bi-level slab. 

Here are before and after photos documenting the installation of a radon reduction fan. We use all Festa radon fans and feel they are the best in the industry.

Schedule 40 piping was run from the basement extraction point through a crawl space to the garage. From the garage the piping was run to the above attic. The radon fan was installed in the garage attic and vented through the roof. A clean space vapor barrier was also installed over the dirt crawl space with a second extraction point.
