ALS Property Associates completed a radon gas mitigation installation at a residential property in Shelbyville, MI. A sub-slab depressurization radon system was used on this property. Two extraction point were installed in the basement. Schedule 40 piping was run from the extraction point to the exterior. On the side exterior the radon fan was installed and vented above the roof line.
This is a before/after photo of a radon extraction point. This system is tied in with the drain tile underneath the slab. We were able to tuck the extraction point out of the way in a corner and still communicate with the entire drain field.
