Radon Gas Mitigation Before & After Photos

ALS Property Associates installed a radon reduction system at a residential property in Vicksburg, MI. A sub-slab depressurization radon system was used on this home. Schedule 40 piping was run from the basement to the garage attic. The radon fan was installed in the garage attic and vented through the roof.

Schedule 40 piping was run from the extraction point in the basement to a crawl space. From the crawl space schedule 40 piping was run through the main level wall and to the above attic. The radon fan was installed in the attic and vented through the roof.

This is an example of a dirt floor crawlspace. The before photo shows the dirt floor which is a main entry point for the radon gas. The second is the after photo after we installed drainage matting and 20 MIL Clean Space vapor barrier. This is sealed and connected to the radon system to create negative pressure under the barrier safely venting the radon gas outside of the home.
